I completed my first full distance triathlon in 2017. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with the world of triathlon and endurance sports. What keeps me hooked is that the effort you put in is what you get out — a principle that rings true in every event I’ve taken on.
When I started, I was a complete rookie. Since then, I’ve come a long way, training alongside some of the best British professionals in the sport. I’ve experienced first-hand what it takes to cross the finish line of your first full IRONMAN. And I’ve felt the drive to push beyond that — striving for qualification for Kona and other World Championship events.
Future Plans
Over the past six years, I’ve been steadily building this coaching business with a clear focus: to offer real coaching. For me, that goes far beyond just handing out a training plan. It’s about sharing knowledge, experience, and insight with those who truly want to learn and grow. There’s nothing that makes me prouder than seeing an athlete make a smart decision in a race or key session, based on something they’ve picked up during our work together.
Optimal Endurance has grown into something with real depth. We’ve introduced a club feature to bring people together, for training, racing, and more. We now have five coaches (and counting) working with a wide range of 1-to-1 athletes. They come from all backgrounds and are chasing all sorts of challenges: marathons, ultras, triathlons, and even self-made, unique endurance events.
My plan is to continue to grow the team, business and base in the authentic and organic way as it has over the last 2-3 years.
