What kit do I need?
Chest Heart Rate monitor and watch/device to link to for running. Cadence/chest HR for cycling. Pull Buoy, Paddles, method to record swim (this can be in your head).
How long have you coached for?
I have been coaching a small number of athletes since 2019.
Is there team kit?
Yes there are some items of team kit :)
Can I cancel the coaching at any point?
Yes, you can cancel at any time
Do I need a power meter?
No. Ideally you have an indoor trainer.
Do I need Zwift/Trainer road etc?
No
What is Training Peaks?
Training Peaks is an online and mobile software platform that helps us prepare for your goal race, to plan and analyze training.
How far out should I ask for consultancy?
Anything from 4-12 weeks gives me plenty of time to adjust your focus and help you include specifics for the goal.
Do I need Training Peaks premium?
No, there is a free version which still gives me access to plan sessions.
Do you work with other coaches?
Not directly. But as a coach I have network of other coaches/professionals to help develop my knowledge. If I don't think i'm suited to your needs I will reccommend other coaches for you to work with.
Is it just triathlon?
No, I can cater for any swim/bike/run goal and apply my knowledge to best suit your target.
How long does consultancy take?
It varies depending on your goals and what you need from me. This would be discussed in our initial call.
